Owls – MWF Three’s Teacher

Becca Shepard is returning for her third year at OCP, having previously taught the Chickadees and Owls classes. She has a masters degree in Education and experience teaching public high school, facilitating adult education, and developing popular education curricula with community-based organizations. Becca is also enterring her second year at GSU School of Law. Becca and her husband, Clint, have a five-year-old daughter, Robin, and a two-year-old son, Eli. Robin, a former Lark, is now in Kindergarten at Clairemont Elementary, and Eli is attending OCP as a Chickadee. Becca and her family spend as much time as possible in nature, enjoying the outdoors. Becca strongly believes that the most important “work” of children is play. She sees preschool as a time to celebrate children’s unique spirits and personalities, providing young children with the opportunity to pretend, engage in imaginative play, explore the outdoors, and interact with similar-aged children.
