Parents and Teachers Working Together
Creating a community of parents, teachers and children within our school is a critically important element to our success as a cooperative preschool. Although OCP is overseen by a board of parent volunteers, our staff create that special “nido” environment for our children to learn, play and grow together.
Qualifications and Benefits
A Bachelor’s degree is preferred for class teachers. Specialists must have training in their field. Additionally, Waldorf, Reggio, and Creative Curriculum teacher training and classroom experience are preferred. We seek individuals who are looking to join a community-minded, parent-led cooperative environment. Our teachers are committed to excellence in teaching, parent education and dialogue, self-development, and collegial cooperation.
